Abstract This paper reports the results of effects oleamide addition on hardness, as one mechanical behaviours, styrene butadiene rubber/silica (SBR/silica) composite. The base SBR was compounded with silica, a reinforcing filler, and others compounding chemicals. silica into rubber matrix at 30 phr chemicals were added based semi-efficient formulation. has been done using opened two-roll mills. Oleamide to SBR/silica improve rubber-to-filler interaction properties lab-synthesizing chemical 4 different concentrations (2, 4, 6 8 phr). compounds without vulcanized 150 °C typical cure meter. From results; it noticed that hardness SBR/Si composite increased compound. It considered improvement attributed result crosslinks NR/silica/oleamide composites. additions convert composites more resistance swelling. A greater degree would increase swelling rejection/resistance but decrease interpenetration toluene solution acted an additive which improved mixtures/compounds and, 2 optimum concentration for
